I was inspired. I was walking along the "old town" area of Hemel Hempstead and the image struck me. The sky was pretty sweet but what stood out was the two spires.

On the one hand you have the Christmas tree, the symbol of the tradition of Christmas. Almost all homes in England have one. On the other hand you have the church, a true symbol of Christianity. On Christmas day, the birth of Jesus Christ, i think it is quite ironic that the tree is the one more frequented (viewed upon). So, I size them up and take the photo.

I've editied this photo quite heavily, removed quite a few branches ruining the "line". Added some contrast and some extra red also. I wanted to get the angle of the christmas tree and the angle of the spire to be similar but it was too much editing to look right.
